Purpose
 To alleviate the burden of the admission process for the master’s 
and combined master’s-doctoral programs by conducting a separate 
selection process for students with excellent academic performance 
in the undergraduate program, thereby enhancing the quality of 
education

 School/Department offering graduate master’s and doctoral 
programs (except Contracts)

Selection Cycle
 In principle, selection is conducted once every semester (in January 
and July).
   However, each school(department) chair may set schedules 
differently based on to the needs of their school(department)’s 
basic educational units.

 (Mandatory) Applicants must meet all the following conditions.

Official English test score is mandatory (TOEIC, TOEFL, 
etc.)
Eligible Major
Major (double major) in the same field as their planned 
graduate studies.
※ However, the field of study of the co-advisor for the 
undergraduate thesis is also acceptable.
 (Additional)
  - Each department chair may set additional requirements as needed 
to meet the admission conditions for their department’s graduate 
program

Exemption from the graduate school application fee (80,000 
KRW per person) and exemption from the admission fee 
(680,000 KRW per person)
This is awarded only once upon entering the combined 
master’s-doctoral program. In case of withdrawal, the full 
scholarship amount must be returned
